Hilltake has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the NS 595 Certification for its Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) Pipes. The NS 595 standard pertains to Structured Wall Plastic Piping Systems for Non-pressure Drainage and Sewerage, specifically covering pipes and fittings with non-smooth external surfaces.

This certification underscores Hilltake’s commitment to quality and innovation in the plastic industry. The DWC Pipes are made from special HDPE material, designed to convey and facilitate the smooth flow of sewerage. These pipes are resistant to various gases and chemicals, offering greater stiffness and higher load-bearing capacity compared to traditional rigid pipes.

The certification not only highlights Hilltake’s dedication to meeting international standards but also emphasizes the company’s role in improving Nepal’s sewage and drainage infrastructure. By providing durable and efficient solutions, Hilltake continues to contribute to sustainable development in the region.

With the inauguration of the tallest statue of Shiva in the world, it attracted the attention of many, be it pilgrims, tourists or the news. As the statue held high at the skies of Sanga, there were many at awe, amazed at the sight of the new statue that not only was it impeccably beautiful, it had set the record of being the largest statue in the world, naturally drawing people to it. This 108 feet tall statue not brought pilgrims or the news but also was a new travel point for tourists.

Additionally, among the works of Hilltake, the world’s tallest Shiva statue wasn’t the only thing that took the spotlight of the news.

The heart is one of the most important and delicate organ of the human body. Having problems on such an organ makes a person’s life very hard, most of all resulting it to surgery. Being one of the most dangerous ailment in the world, heart problems have come to become a common sickness in this modern era.

December 20, 2011, Hilltake health and homes started ‘Hilltake Saaol heart center’ which has been providing bypass surgery, angioplasty and heart blockage removal.

According to Mr. Kamal Jain “In the first 5 months of our activity, Hilltake has completed more than 2 dozen successful treatments. This 50 lakh worth of equipment is a small price to pay to treat patients without surgery, more so stopping them from useless expense on other treatments”. Additionally he also added some points to the treatments procedures mentioning the classes, which Hilltake offers to the caretakers of the heart patients, teaching them on how to take care of patients and lists of what to do and what not to do with the patient.

Mr. Kamal Jain is the man behind the creation of the tallest lord shiva statue as he has put almost all his life’s major income in making this dream of making a 108 feet high statue to reality.
Lets know more about him by reading this interview taken by the times of india.

KATHMANDU(Kamal jain) says: “When I first came to Nepal nearly 20 years ago, I immediately felt a special rapport with Pashupatinath,” says Kamal Jain, who left his family business in Siliguri to make a fresh start in the Nepal. “Living in Kathmandu was like living under his wing. I had always wanted to pay a special tribute to him.”

On Monday, when Nepal celebrated Mahashivaratri with fervor, the 46-year-old Mr. Jain too wanted to do something to pay his tribute: a colossal 108 feet statue of Shiva.

“To my knowledge, it is the biggest Hindu religious icon in the world,” says Jain, who chairs Hilltake Industries Pvt Ltd, which manufactures plastic water storage tanks and currently, has an annual turnover of NRs 250-300 million.

The idea came to him seven years ago when he visited Gurgaon in India and viewed the immense Shiva statute in the Birla temple there. “From that day, that thought drove me all day and night,” he says. “I too wanted to build a colossal statue of Shiva in Nepal. I thought that would be a life-time achievement.”

The work began in the temple town of Bhaktapur four years ago. The main artisans are from India. The statue itself has cost Jain about NRS 25 million while he estimates it would require another NRS 10 million to finish the project. In addition, there is the money spent on acquiring the land and building the temple.

“I wanted to unveil the statue today on the occasion of Mahashivaratri,” says Jain, who forsook the Pashupatinath temple, where nearly 400,000 devotees flocked every Monday, to visit the Bhaktapur shrine. “However, you can’t dictate time to artistes and the work could not be completed.”

He estimates it will take another five to six months for the project to be over. However, his disappointment turned to joy on Monday when hundreds of people turned up at his temple to worship the statue on Mahashivaratri.

“I am a Jain by religion but then, Jainism rose from Hinduism,” Jain says. “While Jainism forbids the worship of images, the restriction is meant for ascetics, not for grihasthas.”

According to reports, this idol wins the battle of heights since the pedestal of his Shiva is 40 ft above ground.

Our honorable Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr. Sharat Singha Bhandari inaugurated the 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva at Chittapol VDC-5, Bhaktapur, amid a function on June 21, 2010.

Mr. Jain has also contributed to constructing a park in the area. The park that spreads over the colossal statue of Lord Shiva is said to be the biggest in South Asia. The statue was constructed on the initiative of Mr. Kamal Jain on 75 ropanis of land which has a 32-bed Ayurvedic hospital, spa and meditation centers.

“The construction of such a huge statue of Lord Shiva in our country will be helpful for the development of both the religious and tourism sectors in Nepal”, said Minister Mr. Bhandari.
